Alexander Liptak
Alexander Liptak (b. 24 June 1985) is an American heraldist and artist.
Liptak was born in Streator, Illinois, United States of America on 24 June 1985 to Kevin Liptak and Stephanie Liptak née Cox. They would divorce while Liptak was still a young child.
His father worked as a carpenter, and his mother was a bank teller before becoming an office administrator. His grandfather, William F. Liptak, is an insurance broker and local businessman. Liptak grew up in rural Illinois and attended school in Dwight. After high school, Liptak moved to California where he studied art. His father passed away in 2007, after which Liptak returned to Illinois. Liptak currently resides in Streator, Illinois.
Besides European heraldry, Liptak is also interested in natural history, entomology, botany, geology, paleontology, and numismatics.
